We are lucky enough to live in a place we adore. We dreamt of making the move to Portugal for so long, and say to each other on a weekly basis as we soak up the changing seasons in our new country...."We live here!". Aside from Finlay's trip to Scotland to get his new bike last month, we haven't ventured too far from home since moving.
Instead we have been taking our time to settle into our new lives, but a few weeks ago, we decided it was time for a bit of a change of scenery, and we booked a weekend away! We are going to be blogging about our trip soon, but we had a few cool photos of the journey that we thought you'd all appreciate seeing.
One of the wonderful things about living in Portugal is that you have incredible places to visit not far from home. Seville is not far away; the wonderful Alentejo region is right on our doorstep, and even the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, is only a few hours from us.
That's where we opted to spend a few days, and we were so lucky with the weather. Beautiful blue skies and 24 degrees meant even the locals were in their t-shirts, basking in the sunshine! We have some great photos to share from our trip in the weeks to come, but wherever you are in the world, remember a change of scenery can do you the world of good!
