"It's the unknown around the corner that turns my wheels" - that quote sums up what has kept my passion for cycling throughout my life. To me, it perfectly describes riding a bike as you never know just what you are going to see; who you are going to meet or what you are going to experience on each ride. It's never the same and I love that.
As a Scot, I like to think I am lucky enough to come from a country with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world... unfortunately, it just lacks the weather!
Hailing from Scotland does make me a decent judge when it comes to a great view, and I can assure you the Algarve has it in spades, with the added bonus of warm weather and sunshine.
Some might say it's the perfect recipe for riding a bike. Maybe it's a mixture of all these things that make riding a bike out here in the Algarve so special, and I for one can't really get enough of it - especially those stunning blue skies.
