Last week we decided to take a cheeky little trip across the border into Spain. We hadn't visited Seville for about five years, and thought that this time of year would be the perfect season to visit. Not too hot; not too busy, but still with a fabulous vibe.
We were super lucky with the weather - it was in the mid-twenties, which was perfect for strolling around and taking in the sights......there are plenty to take in!
If you haven't been, the city is simply stunning. It is the capital and largest city of Andalusia, situated on the River Guadalquivir.
Small streets lined with tapas bars; the huge and magical Plaza de España, and the amazing Metropol Parasol....of the mushroom of Seville as the locals call it!
We had a magical few days, and reminded ourselves of just how lucky we are to be able to simply take a short trip to another country we love. Next time, we won't leave it so long to return!
