Recently, we took a leisurely stroll along the promenade in Praia da Luz, one of our favorite weekend activities. We love taking in the views, and stopping along the way for a relaxed brunch or lunch, and soaking up the coastal atmosphere.
On this particular visit, we were absolutely captivated by the sunlight—it had an almost magical quality that transformed our photos. And believe it or not, these pictures haven’t been edited at all; they were simply taken with my phone!
The light was so striking that even our family and friends commented on how special it looked that day. Fittingly, Praia da Luz translates to “beach of light,” and that day truly lived up to its name.
Living in such a beautiful place is something we feel incredibly grateful for, and it’s a privilege we don’t take for granted. We’re determined to keep it that way, knowing that sometimes the simple things — like appreciating the natural beauty around us — bring the most joy.
