In the last few weeks we have had some very unusual weather.....rain! As regular readers of our blog will know, we are in drought conditions in the Algarve, so every drop is welcomed as we know we are about to come into Spring and we will not see rain for weeks on end.
With stormy weather comes weather warnings, and we had a coastal warning on the West coast for waves peaking at 11m.....so we had to go to take a look. It was a stunning sunny day as the rainy weather had moved on, but the wind and the waves were still there for all to see.
It made for a beautiful sight, and the noise of the waves crashing down was unbelievable. Wild weather is always spectacular, and on the beautiful West coast it is always dramatic and one of our favourite places to visit.
