A few weeks ago, we spent a very enjoyable day following some beautiful classic cars around the Algarve. It was the latest edition of the Algarve Classic Car event, one of the great stages of classic cars in the Iberian Peninsula.

We went to have a look at the cars at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, which F1 fans will be very familiar with, as it is the track where Lewis Hamilton was victorious back in May 2021. It's a great spot to sit and watch the cars as they enter the track for a lap or two of fun.

Cars taking part ranged from the 1920's to the early 90's, including some very rare Jaguars, Citroens and Mercedes. They look just fabulous in the summer sunshine, and it's great to see so many of them in this part of the world.

We followed them up to Monchique where we sadly had to leave them as the authorities had closed the roads so they could park safely in a small village without traffic problems!

We'll pop a few videos on our Instagram page, so hop over there if you want to see us following the cars through the beautiful countryside! If you love your classic cars, and you're ever in the Algarve when the event is on, it's well worth going along for a look.
