A week full of celebrations!

We are now back in sunny Portugal after a busy and fun filled week in the UK. As well as taking the sunshine with us (we missed a Portuguese storm while we were away!) , we managed to make it along to many celebrations during our holiday.

I caught up with my fabulous pals at a ladies lunch; we marked a great friend's birthday celebration; a diamond anniversary, and to top it all off, a wonderful wedding!

It was fantastic that our trip coincided with so many special moments, and wonderful to catch up with so many of our friends and family in such a short space of time.

The wedding took place in stunning Portmeirion in Wales - if you have never heard of it, it is a tourist village in North Wales designed in the style of an Italian village, and was famously used as the village in the 1960s TV show The Prisoner.

It is a magical place, and was a wonderful setting for the wedding of our lovely friends Ben and Ellie - now known as Mr & Mrs Nelson - you can spot them in the photo above! We had such a great trip to the UK - and now need to chill out and recover from the crazy time we had with all our lovely family and friends!
